As part of this meaningful observance, members of the public are invited to bring fresh, locally grown flowers (no artificial flowers, please) to be gently cast into the waters of the bay at Serenity Park in remembrance of our formerly enslaved ancestors. This symbolic act of reflection and gratitude honours their resilience, sacrifice and enduring legacy.
